Strategic web design and PPC strategy helped grow The UPVC Shop’s online sales from £2,000 to over £100,000 per month.
UPVC Shop is a leading supplier of UPVC products and accessories, based in Wales and shipping nationwide. Despite offering quality products to a national market, their online sales were falling well short of their potential.
When The UPVC Shop came to us, their online sales sat at around £2,000 per month, a figure that didn’t reflect the scale of their product range or the demand within their market. Google Ads campaigns were already running, but underperforming, and the existing website simply wasn’t converting the traffic it received.
We were tasked with identifying exactly why the site wasn’t driving sales, and building a solution that would fix it.
Rather than making surface-level tweaks, we recommended a full website rebuild. Our strategy centred on one core principle: every decision had to be justified by the customer journey. From the moment a visitor landed on the site to the moment they completed a purchase, we wanted the path to be as clear and frictionless as possible.
This meant closely examining how customers were searching for and browsing UPVC products, where they were dropping off, and what was preventing them from completing a purchase.
Understanding the customer journey shaped every UX decision we made. We restructured navigation to reflect how customers actually shop for UPVC products, simplified the path to checkout, and removed unnecessary friction at every stage. Product information was reorganised to answer customer questions upfront, reducing hesitation and building the confidence needed to convert.
The visual design was rebuilt to match the professionalism and quality of The UPVC Shop’s products. A clean, modern layout replaced the outdated look of the previous site, helping build trust with visitors from the first impression and giving the brand a stronger presence in a competitive market.
We built the new site on WordPress, giving The UPVC Shop a scalable, easy-to-manage platform capable of supporting their growth. Our development process prioritised page speed, mobile responsiveness, and security throughout, ensuring the technical foundation was as strong as the design sitting on top of it.
Alongside the rebuild, we implemented comprehensive SEO foundations, including optimised site structure, metadata, and page speed improvements. This ensured the new site wasn’t just built to convert visitors, but also built to attract them, helping The UPVC Shop reach high-intent customers actively searching for their products.
With the new site live, we turned our attention to the existing Google Ads campaigns, which had been underperforming even before the rebuild. Rather than attempt to patch what wasn’t working, we rebuilt the campaigns from scratch, aligning them with the new site’s structure and customer journey. This meant every pound of ad spend was now driving traffic to a site actually built to convert it.
The combined impact of the design overhaul and rebuilt PPC strategy was transformative. Online sales grew from approximately £2,000 per month to over £100,000 per month, an increase of over £80,000 in monthly online revenue. This wasn’t the result of one single change, but of design, development, SEO, and paid marketing working together as a cohesive strategy.
“Synergy Media completely transformed our online presence. The rebuilt website, combined with a much stronger ads strategy, has had a real impact on our business. We’ve seen results we didn’t think were possible.” – The UPVC Shop
